Ongoing feedings of the stray dogs in Kremikovtsi every Tuesday and Thursday

The Every Dog Matters Foundation has been feeding and supplying the food for over 100 stray dogs in Kremikovtsi, an old industrial enterprise, and the nearby village Botunets. The strays have been living on the terrritory of the abandoned combinate ever since it closed in 2009, and EDM has been making sure the dogs living there are fed and taken care of since November 2016.

Ongoing funding and support for the Veliki Preslav shelter

The Every Dog Matters Foundation has been funding and supporting financially the Veliki Preslav private shelter since April 2019.

Rescuing 10 puppies from Kremikovtsi and taking them to a veterinary clinic

10 puppies were discovered in Kremikovtsi, where EDM does the usual feeding of the strays. The puppies were taken to the vet, where it was found out that they were suffering from giardia illness. They were given two vaccines, and stayed at the clinic for about a month until their immune system recovered.

Food donation for the Seslavtsi dog shelter and a foster home at Divotino

The Every Dog Matters Foundation showed support by donating dog food to the Seslavtsi municipality shelter, home to around 250 dogs, and a foster home to Divotino, home to around 80 dogs.

Helping out a foster home with over 80 dogs

The EDM employees have been helping out a foster home and taking care of all the dogs by feeding, cleaning and socializing with them.

Sara, a disabled dog saved by the Aurora Foundation

The EDM foundation has paid the bills for a disabled dog called Sara, which has been saved by the Aurora Foundation. Sara has since then found a home, and is living her best life with her new owners. Success!

6 puppies rescued from Kremikovtsi and sent to a new home in Germany

The EDM team has successfully managed to help in finding a new home in Germany for 6 pups rescued from Kremikovtsi.

Buying a tranquilizing gun

The Every Dog Matters Foundation has bought a tranquilizing gun for 2000 leva, in order to aid with the capturing of bigger and potentially aggressive dogs.

Negotiations with mayor of Dupnitsa

The Every Dog Matters Foundation has led negotiations related to overtaking the shelter in Dupnitsa, and to clarify what might be needed to register the shelter for Traces (a system for transporting dogs abroad).
